Stop scratching it!!! Three months ago, I was just like you. I went to the doctor, and Dr. Nicole told me it was bacterial vaginosis (BV). She said to pay more attention to hygiene and stop using soap-that stuff washes away all the good bacteria. I've been using KUGIG Wash, and it's worked pretty well for me. You can look it up on Amazon and give it a try.

Girl, I've been through the exact same thing. My OB-GYN told me to stop using regular soaps and switch to a gentle pH wash. I grabbed KUGIG on Amazon and It honestly made such a huge difference.

I don't really have any bad habits, and I haven't done anything out of line. I'm actually a very clean person. But down there always feels weird. When I went to the doctor, they explained that I often use soap to clean, and that wrong washing habit messed up my pH down there completely.

I've worked in gynecology for 5 years. Trust me, itching down there is way more common than you think. It's usually a flora imbalance—the bad bacteria take over the good ones, causing itching and odor. You need to clean properly and replenish the good bacteria. Prebiotics help the good bacteria grow. Clean gently, and you can avoid it coming back worse.

Girls, you really need to pay attention to your pH balance during your period. A lot of my patients come in with itching down there because their pH got thrown off during their period, and it turns into an infection. Don't ignore it.
