I think the piece Jeongyo gave Pio is filled with different emotions, because he said it took him five years to complete. So it probably contains all of his different feelings, from the beginning of their relationship, the affection and trust he had for Pio, to the feeling of betrayal and the pain he experienced because of him. I think it’s a combination of both. But Pio interprets it differently because of his guilt. I also think Jeongyo’s frustration comes from the fact that Pio would rather endure all the pressure himself than tell him the truth. Jeongyo was already strangely frustrated whenever Pio rejected him from the very beginning, so imagine how much worse it is now that Pio is keeping something this important from him.
