@anneatsworld: @Thonglor Thai Bistro - 173 E 4th Ave, San Mateo, CA 94401 Friendly reminder: delicious Thai food doesn’t always have to be in Thailand 🇹🇭 Sometimes it can be right here in San Mateo! We tried a little bit of everything today: Appetizers • Roti with curry sauce: My most favorite, surprisingly!!!!! The roti was crispy and so good with the rich, flavorful curry sauce • Pork belly: My 2nd favorite dish, pork belly was so tender and flavor. It went so well with the roti curry! Mains • Thai Boat Noodles: I was most excited for this dish! Beef was very tender, and the broth was rich and savory with lots of depth. • Crab Fried Rice: Another favorite! Crab fried rice portion was generous, flavorful and they have a special green sauce that took the rice to another level!!!! • Woonsen Pad Thai: I'm surprised their Pad Thai was made with vermicelli noodles. It felt lighter than the traditional Pad Thai I usually have, but it's still packed with flavor and yummy! Drinks • Strawberry Berry Lychee Spritz and Thai Iced Tea: Also yummy, I personally preferred the spritz but my bf preferred Thai iced tea and complimented it a lot! Overall, giant portions and comforting food! And 10/10 service as well!!! My belly is happy today! Please come and check them out, they definitely deserve more recognition!!!!! #bayarea #bayareafoodies #thingstodoinbayarea
