I love watching your posts but you are wrong when you say tips are optional. I raised 2 children and was going to college while working nights as a waitress. My hourly pay was $2.15/hr AND the IRS assumes you made at least a 12% tip on your sales so they tax you 12% on your sales. Sometimes my paycheck was $5-$10 a week. I wouldn’t have been able to support my child, myself and go to college.

I went to a restaurant one time on my birthday years ago I didn’t tip the waitress she started berating me and yelling at me I never went back to that restaurant and she made a comment saying that she would put a automatic tip on my next bill I never went back there

When I go out to eat, no matter the PRICE. I will ALWAYS leave $20.00 for my Server. Upon my release from prison, I worked at a restaurant. I was a Hist, Server, Cook, and Dishwasher. I did WHAT was needed of me. So I Know/Understand the restaurant grind. $20.00 Tip to me is GOOD… FACTS… 💯💯💯💯

In a cheap little establishment with a booth, 5 dollars is reasonable. She’s acting like that doesn’t look like a Taco Mayo and 5 dollars when the meal was probably 30. That’s reasonable. 💀
