🏆 These are my top 3 pieces of 2025 so far. Not in any specific order, but each one means a lot to me in its own way. Photo 1: This full leg piece was such a fun challenge! Extended a half leg sleeve into a full leg seamlessly, and I was so proud of how it all came together. Every part needed to flow while keeping the movement and balance right. Definitely one of those projects that reminded me how much I love large scale work. Photo 2: One of my favorites this year, the phoenix and wolf full arm sleeve. I really wanted it to make it feel powerful and graceful while keeping that soft contrast and flow. Blending soft realism with traditional flow. Definitely one that taught me a lot about patience and layering tones. Photo 3: This iconic coin koi leg piece will always be very special to me because it made me step out of my comfort zone, moving from traditional Asian to Asian realism. It took home 2nd place for Best Asian Influenced at the Golden State Tattoo Expo More than the award though, it marks a big step in growth and trust in the process from start to finish. I have so many other favorite pieces from this year, but something about these three really stood out. All the obstacles and challenges that came with them made each one even more memorable!
