I used to buy the takeaway containers, and put all my cooking in that heat it up and then sneak it to the front door in an old Uber eats bag that was on rotate, and pretend that I just got a delivery of food😂😂 she ate it every time. Because I didn’t cook it, LOL.

My son used to do the same. He’d eat everything that Wendy cooked at daycare. His favourite was Wendy’s orange mashed potato. So I lied and told him that Wendy sent food home for him because she knew how much he liked it. Seemed to work.

I used to work in Early Childhood Education. Every parent never believed us when it came to what they ate during the day. To be honest it's a little bit of peer pressure that does it. When they see the other children eat it they follow. I had one parent set up a playdate with a few other parents as an experiment. They just gave the children vegetables they never eat at home during the playdate. The children are them all.

My kids childcare have a good trick for fussy eaters. The chef at the childcare will pose for a photo, putting food into your Tupperware from home. Serve up your kids dinner and they thing the chef cooked it 🤣 big success rate!
