I think you should do a thing where the more “compact” and together the shapes are for a team the more chemistry and cohesiveness the team has. So a more scattered team may lose to a more compact team even if they occupy less space. Also it would make the shape of players matter more which I think it needs

there’s no good argument for why Luka shouldn’t be a box. Curry is a box so why is Luka not a box? Steph has a career defensive of 108.9, Luka has a 111 which are BOTH ABOVE LEAGUE AVERAGE for starting point guards. hali, fox, trae, ja and lillard are literally below BOTH of them

In my mind diamond just messes up bc it feels like it could be rotated to a square. Maybe it would make more sense if it were taller than wide so it can’t be forced to fit as well

I really enjoy the idea of these videos but I feel they need to so desperately take into account contract size. So many players team value would change drastically if they were on different contracts.

Here since way before the Wyman diagram, but absolutely loving the traction this is gaining. It’s hit a really good niche in the market. Like yourself and others, would love to find a way for this to be aided somehow by analytics. The shapes are just so intuitive though it’s fantastic
