When i was 14 years old, i was happy everyone celebrate my birthday all my relatives from another City will come here to celebrate my Birthday but slowly i was afraid because every year the inflation slowly rise and i am worried i always think what if my father run out of money just like that day January 4, 2023 my father come home because i texted to him before Xmas Day that i will be staying to my aunt's house because she told me "stay here, its getting late you can go home tomorrow 11:00am" after i got home my dad and my step-mother arrive at 4:00pm. I called him "Dad, did you receive my message? and look she gives me huge money, i wonder where should i spend it?" and my step-mother heard it and misunderstood it. After that, days later my father got home but his wearing tattered clothes, i've known my father's styles if he ever visits to me he always wear formal clothes with jacket on it. And 6:00pm my father,grandma, and my sister (cousin) are going home (father's home) i thought to myself that im jealous there going vacation but when they got back almost midnight my grandma was angry all of a sudden she said "that woman has no respect to his husband, Bong (my father's name) you should divorce that woman!" i talk to my sister what happened? my sister called me that they got into fight with his wife, and most shocking part is that your father's credit card is empty. after i heard that i look to my father and think is this what family's like? maybe i shouldn't completely trust girls it will only lead hurting myself. after that day, i talk to my father that dad are you really gonna divorce her? he said to me "son, im not gonna divorce your s-mother because your little sister always looking for me" with a sad face on him and i can feel my sister's feeling.... and my dad ask me "Son, can i borrow 200 pesos i'll pay you after i settle this problem" and I immediately handed him and told him that you shows me your actions remember that day, dad when we're at Cebu because your ears drums got damage and you need to checkup if there's a chance if it heals, and we saw a beggar who's in the wheelchair, you told me "Son, go give this it's not much but it can help her buy"

i learn not to expect anything in my birthday and treat it as normal passing day..but it was enough just having wishes from close friend and family..last yr i waited for her wish..i dont mind even a belated wish..just i dont wish to reach out first..she didnt in the end..her bd is after mine.. i remember but i chose to pretend not to remember..she reach out to me, telling me she was sad..so i open up.. i feel forgotten during my bd. she apologize n so am i too. she promise not to forget again and wish me bd how late it is. and if she did, i would do the same too.. i know im petty..but this yr..she did it too.. i was the one who contact her first.. willing to hear her excuse..she said she remember and prepared a gift for me and was about to suprise me..i reach her out only to hear her wish, n not asking for gift.. i feel like that was just some made up excuse.. and in the end.. there's no gift like she claim to be. her bd is this dec.. i wonder what should i do..being petty again?...
