I don’t even want MY dad, I just want A dad. Mines no good, I was always better off without him and I knew that. But just like any dad at all would have been cool. I have a step dad, we get along but never had that dad daughter relationship bc I was raised by my grandma not my mom. I had an adopted dad but when him and my grandma (adopted mother) split I never heard from him again. I don’t need a dad that shares DNA, but I’m a 30 year old kid who could still use a dad. Thankfully I’ve got a really great father in law but it’s still not the same as having my own dad.
