I am literally an assistant manager at Woolworths. I have Uber drivers come up to me asking me for the online order after I’ve watched them go up to the service desk and the service desk. Employees show them where the online room is.

My favourite is when they come to the store and we get called to front end and the customer insists we have their order and they get snarky. I check the computer etc and go back and suggest perhaps its one of two other stores in the area, they check their app and sure enough......[Laugh approved][Laugh approved][Laugh approved][Laugh approved]

I work in the customer care centre for a well know auto parts/ accessories store and this happens all the time with special parts orders. As the customer is placing the order it reminds them multiple times on multiple pages (and with pop ups you have to acknowledge) that the item is a special parts item that is not stocked in store and can take at least two weeks on average to arrive in store from the supplier. Everyday we get calls from customers because their special parts click and collect order isn’t ready after one hour, we then tell them it’s a special parts order and all the notifications they had when placing the order to let them know (that they ignored and did not once read) 🙃 some are ok and take the information well, while others start yelling that it’s not fair and it’s not their fault they didn’t read or they didn’t get any notifications while checking out (they do). They then get further upset that their yelling didn’t work and that we can’t speed up the time for the supplier dispatching the item 🙄

had one make me cry today, customer ordered something i couldnt find so i left it for my supervisor to find and moved on, they supplied it and customer picked up order then called back to say they got wrong stuff, stuff they didnt order and missing that item that the sup supplied and i got blamed for it all, no one would hear me out when i tried explaining my side.

I work in retail and our website says 30 minute turn around time. DONT SHOW UP UNTIL YOU GET THE ORDER CONFIRMATION. Some days it takes a little longer then 30 minutes
