@vchan118: Princess Aiko Watches Demonstrations of Japanese Martial Arts (Judo, Karate, etc.) by Trainees from Laos On the afternoon of the 19th—the third day of her official visit to Laos—Princess Aiko visited the Japan-Laos Martial Arts Center in Vientiane. Established in 2009 with funding from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the center serves as a regular training venue for various martial arts groups, including those practicing judo, karate, aikido, and kendo. Princess Aiko watched demonstrations of judo and karate performed by Laotian trainees. His Majesty the Emperor of Japan also visited the center in 2012, where he viewed demonstrations and interacted with the Laotian children and young people practicing martial arts.
