One of the reasons that made me want to read the novel was Lukas’s thoughts on this. It’s so frustrating when people ignore the relationship and emotions between two people and just label it as “romantic” (I hope I’ve made myself clear) agggggghhhhghgg they’re my babies🥹

As an aroace person i feel lukas on so many levels... i wish i jad friends like he has. Some of my friends can't even comprehend someone not falling in love at all. I've many times that "oh you just haven’t found the right perskn yet." Which is why i love this novel so much. Lukas means a lot to me 🥹. Another novel that represents a QPR is "What happens when the second male lead powers up". It's also peak and not thay famous unfortunately 😭

Leonard is willing to take any risk just to save luka even if he doesn't have to. He is willing to cry for Lukas's sake and even embedded an artifact in his hand. I cannot see how any normal best friend would do this.. Especially since lukas and Leo hadn't even known each other for that long.
