It literally doesn't take forever at most you're waiting 3 mins after you tell an employee or 5 if they don't have a radio so they can tell someone else. and most likely in that area the employee you ask would probably have the key

I went to Walmart once and the item i wanted what behind said glass doors. I pressed the button on the call box and I believe I waited fifteen minutes before I gave up on it and left. pretty sure the box was just a battery operated light bulb that didnt send a signal out to call an employee at all. side note: even if you do get a employee, they dont have the keys to that cabinet.

i mean to be fair i have had to wait a hour and find like 6 diffrent employes to get razors that were locked so i can understand the frustrstion

I understand why because of all the thefts. However I do not understand when you asked employees to assist they take their time. I wanted to get my kids something I waited for 40 mins and asked 4 employees never got help. i left and spent my money else where.

Its mostly because other children anf even some adults can stop stealing legos. The worst part is its not even just legos being locked up but pretty soon everything at Walmart will be because people can't stop stealing things,and yet everyone wonders why Walmart employees don't trust their customer base.

You have to find an associate to open it up.. like it’s not hard… if u actually follow the process.. I get it with baby formula but it’s not hard to find someone and yeah the waiting is terrible but.. but this is over reacting to me

Well maybe people need to start setting standards and prosecute thieves to the fullest and make them pay back restitution if they cant pay it back then they work it off . Either A) at the store under supervision or B) they work it off doing supervised community service

I had to do this to help my son get a birthday gift for a friend. There was no issue, no judgment. You just ask nicely, wait patiently and you get to buy the toy. It's weird this is where we are in society, but does not have to be a real issue. Be a better example for your kid.
