My great grandfather was an Orangeman and I think it’s one of the parts of my family history I’m ashamed about. His daughter married a catholic (my grandfather), my mom married a catholic (my father) and my husband is a catholic. There’s no reason why we can’t all get along and turn away from the legacy of hate.
