@thetimes: The Prince of Wales will not make a film about Diana, Princess of Wales, to mark the 30th anniversary of his mother’s death next year to avoid a potential further conflict with his brother.⁠ ⁠ Prince William, who was 15 when Diana died in a car crash in Paris in 1997, is understood to have declined several offers to make or appear in documentary tributes to his late mother as the date approaches.⁠ ⁠ Last week sources close to Prince Harry confirmed he had discussed “a number of possible projects” to mark the anniversary “in the most meaningful way”, including a film.
