To see Turkish flags flying everywhere, on keychains, magnets, from rooftops and on buildings fills the air with such love and positivity. The sense of belonging, identity and pride that the people have is admirable. I wish that we could take a slice of this love and understanding back home with us to England, to celebrate our heritage the way that it existed in childhood and to be proud of our identity and belonging. No matter where you are born, or where you live now, your roots will always carry you through life. Embracing your culture with open arms and understanding towards others differences is such a beautiful thing. Let us not try to change anyone to follow our path, but be proud and considerate of all who came before us to lead us to where we are today 🙏✨ #turkey #turkishculture #british
