people are way to harsh on Franco. this was literally his first race ending mistake in 32 races (since the start of his Alpine drive) and if any other driver would have made a mistake like that nobody would lash out that big. just like Antonelli last year in Austria. most of the people where just like "yeah this can happen" but suddenly when its Colapinto hes the worst driver ever and needs to be banned

All his mistakes only took himself out. Not two others. Colapinto bulldozed through it basically out of control. He was too fast going into a corner he would have never made anyway. It was reckless and dangerous. Obviously lando is mad that his new parts are now in the bin, with no new spare parts at the beginning of a triple header. He could get more penalties for changes in his car or maybe they can’t bring much more updates for him because of the cost deck. Colapintos mistake could cost lando the rest of the season. I would be fuming too. Was Landos comment harsh? Absolutely, but the bigger issue is that drivers have to be in the Media pen three seconds after a race, without the chance too cool down and look at what happened. They’re high on adrenaline. Everyone is making it a bigger deal than it actually is.
