I had to put my 20 year old cat today. I’ve had her since I was 7 and she’s all I’ve ever known. I’m currently in a hotel down the road from my house because I can’t handle seeing her spaces without her. The car ride home was okay. Then we got home and I saw her footprints still in the blanket where she was laying and I thought I was having a real heart attack. This is the worst emotional pain I’ve ever felt. Idk how people get through this type of loss.
