Spain have the advantage because most of their players play for Barcelona so they have time to build chemistry and know each others style of play/moves very well. They play together daily for years. On the other hand England players play in different clubs...they might play together every now and again but its not the same. Yesterday's game for example, Myles lewis-skelly was playing in the midfield with Jude and Elliot, he hardly plays in that position for the national team, he wasn't even at the world cup. They basically had less than a week of preparation. Obviously you don't expect them to play as well as if they played together daily. This is why at club level Barcelona (80% of the Spanish team) don't have the same dominance because other clubs also have chance to practice together daily, they haven't won a UCL in over 10 years. If your theory was true they would be dominating at club level too. FYI Real Madrid play different style football compared to Spain/Barcelona and most of their players are not even Spanish (they mainly play lower possession and counter attack). Whilst Spain may dominate other countries, alot of that has to do with the fact that they play together day in day out whilst other countries don't have that advantage...Once you compare club performance where there is a level playing field Barcelona have no dominance Whatsoever. Barcelona would have been winning UCL back to back the same way Spain dominate other countries if it had to do with their style of play.
