My daughter had this exact issue a few nights in a row post-period! Took her to the gynecologist, and turns out she was over-cleansing because she thought she needed to get rid of odors. That over-scrubbing damaged her moisture barrier. The doctor said she needed to balance her pH with something acidic. Luckily we caught it early—got her a prescription and an acidic wash, and she's finally sleeping soundly again.🥺

females go through this .ntn to feel embarrassed and laugh about . use no harsh soap down there . use pure glycerin soap and wash with bicarbonate of soda . use aloe Vera gel daily . use cotton underwear. also drink plenty of water .

Mom of two daughters here. If your girl is walding up scratching like crazy, do NOT lecture her. Her fiora balance Is crying for help. Throw away her bar soaps, get her a proper acidic wash, and hand her a cold pack. Be her safe space, not her judge.

My college roommate literally went through this freshman year. I heard her scratching like crazy in the middle of the night, and next morning she told me regular soap made it 10x worse. Threw out all her bar soaps that exact day and never looked back.

Wait do you guys actually talk to your moms about itching down there? my mom literally bought me a low-pH wash the first time i felt uncomfortable and taught me how feminine hygiene actually works. i love her so much honestly.😁
