To be fair though. He is also going in depth into the development of the shows, character development, recurring themes, behind the scenes details, etc. his second video on Sam and Cat is mostly about the behinds the scenes mistreatment of Jennette McCurdy by Nickelodeon as told in her memoir “I’m Glad My Mom Died.” He’s extremely thorough and that’s why people like me keep coming back to him.

they're for the girlies nostalgic for those shows who want a trip down memory lane. I needed something to listen to during my long commutes to work. I enjoyed them quite a bit. I can see why most people can't get into it tho 😭

for one it’s not beat for beat of every episode. He puts together through lines and elaborate on them. Second to the the who is watching this, I can’t speak for everyone else but me personally, gets me through my long drives city to city

so the problem with these videos is that there is a greater, grand point being made, specifically about the abuse being perpetrated or enabled by Dan Schneider, but it takes *over 25 hours* to reach that point at the very least, the Dan Schneider video is standalone, but it also has this air of bitterness that no one appreciated what the point of the videos were, which is mostly his fault because he made them very entertaining and not alluding to the point often enough

He doesn’t just recap the show, he gives analysis of the season and episodes through the lens of what it was like AS it was airing, often giving knowledge about behind the scenes and how it sometimes influence the show as a whole, as well as covering the surrounding media, merch, and other things, you just have to find the topic interesting

I worked a factory job, it had a mad loud conveyer belt running through the whole warehouse house, so it was encouraged to wear headphones to kinda drown it out. Having a 6+ hour podcast like that meant I basically never had to change my audio for my headphones while I’m working, on top of the fact that they were just good videos to boot. Even now, I work an overnight job, and having a vids that are the length of my shift helps a ton.
