People don't know the difference between the East African Community (EAC and East Africa as a region. If it were the region, it would be only Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. But here they talk about the community, Eastern Congolese are more culturally aligned with East Africa than with other parts of DRC.
