a lot of people definitely over exaggerate their dislike for the first season. yes, it may have had a couple of mundane episodes, but I don’t understand why it has to be this thing when someone genuinely enjoys watching that first rather than just immediately skipping to season two

Hear me out… he deserved better tbh a Denise and Whitley…. They constantly turned him down for other guys and made fun of him until he became something they wanted. He deserved someone who wanted him when he was a young nerdy guy

This is a show that knew how to pivot. This made me think of The Vampire Diaries and Bonnie and Damon. And how Julie couldn’t just let Damon/Elena go even though Nina left.
