Some public employees need to hear this:
You are at work.
You are exercising authority on behalf of the public. Being watched, questioned, or recorded is not a personal attack.
The hubris of “How dare you film me?” is exactly why transparency matters.
If the auditor acts like a clown, the camera will prove it.
If you lose your temper, invent authority, retaliate, or embarrass yourself because somebody pointed a camera at you, the camera will prove that too.
If transparency is truly unbearable, there are plenty of jobs outside public service.
Otherwise:
Calm down, act professionally, and do the job the public is paying you to do.
