mind you every house has a 2 car garage and can fit 4 cars in the driveway. there is no reason any resident should be parking in the street. I wish my hoa would enforce this

POSTPARTUM JOURNEY… Back to me, finding my pink again…. After having Hallie, I didn’t feel like myself. I was the lowest I’ve ever been and didn’t understand why. Looking back I think there was a lot of birth trauma, an emergency c section and a NICU stay will do that to you I’ve realised. There was a lot of ‘it wasn’t supposed to be like this’ and it’s taken some time to accept that this was just the way Hallie was meant to be here. And how lucky we are now. I also loved being a mum to my three girls, but I missed having the time and energy to feel like Gemma too.. These are little moments from my workouts over the last 12 weeks. And yes, I’m proud of the physical progress. But the biggest difference is how I feel. Stronger, clearer in my head and more connected to myself again. I want to be strong for my girls. Physically and mentally! To carry them, run around with them and have the energy to enjoy it all. I want them to see that looking after yourself matters too, and most importantly have a mummy who’s happy. Growing a baby, giving birth, whichever way you do it, healing and finding your feet again takes so much strength before you even step into a workout. Trying to get an hour a day to myself, whether it’s a work out or simply a shower TV and getting ready for bed whilst the kids are asleep.. gives me that oomph to be a better mum. There’s no deadline for feeling ‘back to me’ But little by little, I’m getting there. And it feels really good. 💪🩷 #backtome #postpartumjourney #postpartumbody
