@trailandkale: Lacing up the Salomon X Ultra 5 GTX. One pull of the quickLACE and the sensiFIT construction wraps the midfoot snugly, with a lace pocket to tuck everything away. Underfoot it's firm, stable, and protective, exactly what you want charging up hills or picking through rocky descents. The honest note from my testing: the heel hold never quite satisfied me, and I explain exactly why in the full review. Excellent Contagrip traction and GORE-TEX that does its job. The details matter on this one. quickLACE: love it or hate it? Be honest. Full review live now at trailandkale.com. Video coming to YouTube soon. #Hiking #hikingtiktok #hikingshoes #winterhiking #hikinggear
