@iszty88: Alexander Viktorovich Kuzminykh (Александр Викторович Кузьминых; c. 1979 – 11 September 1998) was a Russian navy conscript who carried out a mass killing on the nuclear submarine Vepr (K-157) at the base in Gadzhiyevo, Murmansk Oblast, on 11 September 1998. Armed first with a blacksmith’s chisel and then with an assault rifle taken from a sentry, he killed 8 fellow sailors (most of them while they slept) and wounded 2 officers. He then barricaded himself in the torpedo compartment and threatened to detonate the torpedoes, creating a serious risk of a major nuclear or radiation incident. After a prolonged standoff, special forces prepared to storm the compartment; Kuzminykh died from a self-inflicted gunshot (or an accidental explosion while handling a regenerative cartridge). #targetaudienceforyou #targetaudience #russia #Россия
