I’m just living with the pain. I go to a pain clinic and they give me hydro 5mg 10 pills per month and PT. Too old for procedures I guess. Not enough meds but honestly I don’t want to take much more anyway. In bed or in a wheelchair not much hope to get better but alas something’s are not fixable and I have resolved to just living in spite of it.

20 years ago I had a double fusion at the L4 L5 S1 levels. It helped with the excruciating pain, but I have daily pain that does not go away. I have had multiple injections every year, physical therapy, occupational therapy, water therapy, nerve blocks, and several other things. I even had a surgery to remove the metal in my back because they thought that might be causing the pain. Now I have another bulging disc at the level 3, and they want to do another surgery. If the first two didn’t work, why would I want a third?
