Nope you are exactly right. Not to mention food trucks went from being cheap because they have less overhead but somehow now it’s 6flags pricing for a hamburger. 🤦♀️I’m not too embarrassed to hit “no tip “.

In my opinion, you should just pay your employees appropriately and build that into your prices. Tipping should be for somebody that’s gone above and beyond. A little extra for doing a little extra.

I walk into a restaurant and order food to go and sit and wait for it and then I see a mandatory gratuity added. I did the pick up because it’s already too expensive. So now I don’t even order food to go. They left us no choice.
