the slow service maybe caused by the increasing population of our country. i mean thousands of people go to igmh for medical care every single day in my opinion what we need is more hospitals that are just as reliable as igmh not only in male but other atolls

Medical care system in the Maldives is just bad most hospitals are so careless about treatments and so on and this is just from my experience. They need to improve. Bc wdym even regular patients have to wait that long to get an appointment

i hate ethaa blood draw kuraa meehun, it took him lowk SIX tries to get blood from my arm and after that i had pain in my left arm a huge bruise from my wrist to almost my shoulder and turns out he pricked me wrong so i almost lost a finger too igmh sucks

Gorrl- i got mine after 2 years. Even the psychiatrist laughed in my first session when he realised how long my appointment took.

I had applied in 2022 but got my therapist 2023 and after session they kept changing therapist for me until the put me in a group therapy thingy where theres others there im 2025 they were bit older then me so i wasnt comfortable so told them to change and after months we checked in bc we didnt get an appointment they had put me back on the waiting list. I had got a new therapist after 2026 February.

Sooo true 💯 last year when I was getting two RCTs done at the same time with a severe infection and unbearable pain. I went to the ER multiple times and got an urgent referral, but the dental counter basically told me to just go to a clinic because my dentist was fully booked. I wasn’t even given antibiotics or painkillers. After two weeks of struggling, I finally got an appointment for a new specialist she also blamed me for not coming frequently to appointments like gurl im trying nulibegen😭
