its a matured estate. so do expect the demographic of the residents here could be hv more seniors centric? but in mature estate, u can be assured of convenience. in general, its a new estate, so it should be pretty decent..

boon keng is not bad. that area has a lot of things to eat. and travel to CBD isn't that far. if u need circle line u can go down to Dakota area too.

yes and no...yes bcos it's near to CBD. no bcos agents and owners will raise their prices high! there are many options ..u just have to visit the estates and feel it

If you don’t need gym, swimming pool etc HDB is ok. But, look for newer ones/renovated unit. Better to be near mrt stn/bus stop, easy access to your workplace. Rental will also be lower for HDB

Boon Keng is ok, off Jalan Basah. The newer flats are ok, though further away from hawker centre. Trouble is HDB less privacy, no swimming pool etc bigger but not much cheaper. You should go further out of CBD area such as East Coast, Bedok etc, older condo could be cheaper, I think around $3500 for 500+ sft apartment. My nephew rented out his unit at PLQ to a Japanese girl.

If single in late thirties. Is it better to apply single 2 rms flexi bto or buy resales flat. No hurry for flats also. Heard resales flats are older needs more renovation. Flats will cost more in buying as price are marked up and more renovation to do right? New bto less reno as all brand new? Kindly advise. Thanks
