Just say out loud that this is your home now and they can only be here if they have good intentions and are respectful otherwise you’ll cleanse the home and evict them. You have to set your boundaries and intentions when you live in a haunted old home or they’ll run amuck. A friendly respectful ghost is a good ghost 👻 they can be very helpful and good company. Living in a really old house is not for the faint of heart but you’ll be ok. Also get some salt, bells, plant some rosemary, and lastly bury some iron in the four corners of your property after you set intentions and make sure they are respected.

Someone on this app (martinheavyheadjr) said he'd like to start a handyman company called Polterguys. They'd come in and fix doors, faucets, electrical issues, etc to exorcise homes from the evil spirits that cause strange things to happen.

I don't know if it works or not. But, my Mom told me when I was little that they would catch me talking to someone. When they asked who, I would say, "the old man". Then she found out the elderly owner died in the house. My Mom said she talked to him and told him everything would be okay. He was free to go. She said I never mentioned him again. 👀
