@pweedie88: BREAKING NEWS: 17 KILLED IN CARLETONVILLE TAVERN SHOOTING At least 17 people have been killed and 15 others seriously injured following a mass shooting at a tavern in Wedela, Carletonville, on Saturday night. According to police, at least eight armed suspects reportedly opened fire on patrons outside the tavern before entering the premises and continuing the shooting. The suspects are believed to have been armed with AK-47 rifles and handguns. The deceased comprise 13 men and four women while 15 other victims sustained serious injuries and were rushed for medical treatment. The motive for the shooting has not yet been established. Police have launched a manhunt for the suspects as investigations continue. This is a developing story. More information will follow as it becomes available.
