ok so why is this villainzed?? everyone wants to portray a perfect marriage as if life, children, grandchildren, bills, 40+years real life problems don't exist! of all the people i know married that long I'm sorry but passion, just and sex are no longer on the forefront! it's turned into something else. after half your life im not gonna go search for someone else to start over im gonna live what time I have left with my partner WHATEVER it may look like to to those that don't matter. THESE ARE REAL OLD SCHOOL VALUES!! This is that new age crap!

I don’t think I could have a conversation with anyone without those things included. As a full time working mom that’s basically all I’ve got- I’m either doing my job or taking care of kids. I think maybe people forget that when your kids are little- your hobby’s etc are on the back burner.

This is what happened with us. We use to get mad and be sad when we fight then one day I just left because nothing made me want to make it work any more 😭. I still miss him but think he was there too. It was definitely roommate stage .

I have had 4 main relationships but nit 1 of my relationships were this way except at the end if my 1.5 year marriage that I no longer argued but I akso found out about his cheating but the end was before that but nit long but at 21 I was ready but I akso needed to learn things but him at 25 he didn't really know how to be a husband and never wanted ti be a dad. we needed ti have more conversations. We married too young him thinking living together that I must have a ring and be narried but if I knew he wasn't ready we wouldn't have married
