My son had them and access bars and body talk worked!!! Each time it would go away for a while and come back with a different tic. Eventually completely gone

she has such a healthy mindset with managing it. being able to accept something that can sometimes be such a burden can honestly feel really powerful. fortunately my tourette’s has never been too bad, but with other disabilities and chronic illnesses that i have i’ve really had to learn how to cope with it, because the reality of these things is that they’ll always be with you, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t make it more bearable.
