This is so true 🥹✨ Romance is slowly dying because everything is becoming about the price instead of the intention. I remember a guy who bought me my favourite Capri-Sun when I wasn't feeling well. I valued it because he remembered I liked it. 🥹 He loved bread, so one day I bought him bread and Hollandia with a note saying, "Man shall not live by bread alone, that's why I added yoghurt." 😂 It made him so happy and it touched my heart 🥹 Sometimes romance is simply, "I remembered you like this." ❤️

on the other hand you wouldn't blame women monetizing relationships, for most men these days they tend to move sexually very quickly, they don't put in the effort to actually get to know you or give that impression of "I really care about this person and I just want to enjoy their company and build something genuine, it's mostly they meet you today next thing is "come over or talking sexually, so these women don't want to feel cheated at the end of the day, so they put money foward so that just incase this guy turns out not having good intentions then she has nothing to loose coz she has benefited financially.

My boyfriend got me a package for valentine's day. He knows nothing about curating packages, but he went to the market, but things I loved and I will use, put it in a cute little box and wrote a note. He told me that after putting the things in a box he figured out he was missing something but couldn't remember what he was missing, he was about sending the package out when he remembered that I love cheese balls. He had to call the bike man back just to add cheese balls to the package 😫😫 My mannnnn 😫😫😫😫

Even in music.. we used to have artists back then making tracks about romance, where you could sense the context of the song is not materialistic but on raw emotions. But today, almost every song about love is on the materialistic edge. I think it reflects on us as a society.

I keep on talking about how I want romance, I want something more than what is going around these days and I very much believe that what I’m looking for exists but when I voice it out, I get laughed at and called delusional and childish, I get called a girl that watches too much kdrama and it’s so irritating because, no it’s not something that only exists in dramas, having that mindset is what’s childish and not me thinking that love shouldn’t only be about money and sex

Was on a ride with this man, a booked ride actually so we were sitted at the back. R&Bs was the genre of music playing throughout the ride and this is my type of music but I didn’t think too much of it… I just thought; “it’s probably coincidence”. Half way into the journey, I casually said I think I’m enjoying this ride the more because of the choice music playing and he said to me; “I know it’s your kind of music so I told the driver to play them”… At first I didn’t believe him, I even laughed saying; “it’s a lie”😂. But I turned out to be true cos the driver Concurred🥹. Mind you this was the first time we were meeting physically🥲… so what am I trying to say?😂😂, this experience of mine is “Romance”🙂↔️👌😂🌚
