Photos released by Suvarnabhumi Airport showed delayed bags being sorted by airport and emergency personnel inside the baggage claim area. Some travelers reportedly waited between five and six hours for their luggage, while reduced staffing and baggage-handling problems added further pressure to the operation. Suvarnabhumi says it is coordinating with Thai Airways to bring in additional ground staff, restore normal baggage handling and reduce delays affecting both inbound and outbound services.
