@morilarp: In the early chapters of The Climber (Kokou no Hito), Mori isn't just a quiet transfer student—he is completely alienated from the world around him. Trapped inside classroom walls, surrounded by people he cannot connect with, his existence feels entirely hollow. He sits in class waiting for time to pass, disconnected from society and seeking an escape from the overwhelming noise of everyday life. It isn't until he steps out onto the school rooftop and looks up at the bare wall that something ignites within him. Climbing becomes more than just a sport or a hobby for Mori—it becomes the only place where he feels truly alive. High above the ground, where one wrong move means death, the meaningless routine vanishes, leaving behind only focus, survival, and absolute freedom. This video explores Mori Buntarou’s journey through isolation, trauma, and the relentless search for meaning in a world that demands conformity. From his quiet, detached high school days to scaling vertical ice walls alone in the mountains, witness the evolution of the loneliest climber in manga history. Key Topics Covered in this Video: The Weight of Isolation: Why Mori feels completely disconnected from modern society. The Rooftop Climb: The pivotal moment that changed his life forever. Climbing as a Refuge: How the silence of the mountains provided an escape from internal turmoil. The Reality of Solo Climbing: The thin line between self-discovery and destruction. If you've ever felt out of place, overwhelmed by the routine, or searched for your own path, Mori Buntarou's story will deeply resonate with you.
