@camp.vodenca: Apparently today is World Tourism Day. 🌍 Which sounds very official. We should probably say something about destinations, sustainable development and unforgettable experiences. But we run a campsite. 😂 So to us, tourism looks a little different. It’s people arriving as complete strangers and waving at us when they leave. It’s tents appearing between the trees. Coffee at reception. ☕ Wet shoes. Terrible attempts at pronouncing Soča. Stories from countries we’ve never visited. And the occasional camper we secretly hope will never leave. 🥹 You come here to see Bovec, the mountains and that ridiculously turquoise river everyone keeps taking photos of. But somewhere along the way… you become part of our summer too. 🩵 And when the season gets quiet, those are the things we remember. Not how many check-ins we did. The people. So on World Tourism Day, thank you for travelling. Thank you for choosing small places like ours. Thank you for bringing a tiny piece of your world into ours.
