@theaftershiftmovement: Restaurant jobs don't ruin relationships just because of the hours. Sometimes it's what happens AFTER the shift. You're finally home… but your brain isn't. You're replaying the night. Thinking about tomorrow. Checking your phone. Wondering who's going to call off. Thinking about labor. Inventory. The guest complaint. The thing you forgot to order. Meanwhile… the people you've been telling yourself you're doing all of this FOR are sitting right next to you. And you're physically there… but mentally you're still at the restaurant. That was a hard realization for me. Because I spent years believing: Working harder = providing better. But there's another side to providing that I wasn't thinking enough about. Being present. I still want to work hard. I still want to make money. I still want to provide for my family. I just don't want my ONLY way of earning more money to always require giving away more of my time. That's a huge reason I'm building After Shift. I'm learning digital marketing, affiliate marketing and digital products while I still have the security of my restaurant career. I'm not trying to magically escape tomorrow. I'm trying to build another option today. Because eventually I want more control over BOTH: my income AND my time. If you're working in restaurants and you've been thinking the same thing… Comment SHIFT and I'll send you the path I'm following so you can start building another income stream without automatically sacrificing even more time with the people you're doing all of this for. #restaurant #restaurantlife #restaurantindustry #hospitality #hospitalityindustry
