I would put in a wetland filter. aerators. lots of plants. fish. you have to build an entire ecosystem to get that crystal clear water. it's definitely possible though! you can also look up a Certified Aquascape Contractor in your area! we are all professional trained to build waterfeatures

You need proper circulation and get a lot of fish. carped or koi eats a lot of weeds. get a bunch of fish to create a whole environment so it takes care of itself. sure you have good water flow

Use the windmill to pump out water into a bed of plants, veggies and greens which will filter the water for free. Get some crustaceans to solve the algae and seaweed problem too. Bigger deck would look nice too.

you need something to circulate the water, like a fountain, and some bottom feeding fish. (i.e. carp, catfish)

Whatever u do put some structure in it so fish and can have hiding spots and strike zones but other than that u need a whole ecosystem working together for good quality of life

Oh get all the fish outta there clean the water and turn it into oasis that's for sure probs a nice outdoor deck and a grill for them bbq nights. go for it no doubt about it

Absolutely turn into a pool/lake… and then rent it out on the one website that you can do doggie days on your land, and let peoples bring their dogs to swim. I’m in IL and I would literally drive to a private place to let my dogs swim for a few hours where there are no other dogs bc mine don’t get along with other dogs. That way you make revenue from the cost of the project. Just a thought! [Heartwarming]
