Zhongli is probably one those charas that will be correlated back to HSR somehow. not just a descender but probably one of the Scion of Permanence or heavily related to Loong the Aeon of Permanence somehow. which, would definitely be a much much cooler explanation than just him being the Geo sovereign. even if the above is not true, one can always theorise for now. he's the only dragon themed character in Liyue we have after all.

b4, the primordial jade vista was unreleased just like the dreams of dragon fell (bow). now, the jade vista was finally released in-game. the dreams of dragon fell basically talks about how Morax wanted to ride a dragon king's back (implied to be azhdaha) to reach the palace on the moon. he also has an unreleased beta voiceline "Celestia... I have not been back in a long time". he is contracted to keep silent, signed "b4 it all began" which we still don't know to this day. i think the reason why we aren't getting much about his lore is bcs the context has not been laid yet, we know little about the era of HP, the dragon sovereigns and Nibelung, about the twins, the era b4 the arrival of Phanes, abyss, etc.. I believe hoyoverse is gradually setting up the context so that we can fully understand zhongli's lore when he's finally revealed. adding to all of this, this leak was actually not circulating much, but it was released a very long time ago. idk maybe hoyoverse was containing this leak to stop it from spreading, or, even if it's true, we are not sure if hoyoverse has already changed /updated zhongli's lore. but either way, yeah, it's hard not to theorize about this man
