My client has been coloring her hair very dark for years and was ready to let her greys grow in without looking dull or unfinished. To help soften the grow-out, I did high-contrast highlights to blend the greys while keeping dimension and edge. Because this was a major color correction, I started with a strand test (non-negotiable). Good news: the hair could handle it Real talk: some areas needed 3 rounds of re-lightening in one session, others needed 2. This took many hours, and a lot of patience but it was SO worth it.
