I don’t get this ideology of young people deciding the affairs of Nigeria after independence.. this should naturally be the order of things because.. education was not widely accepted yet.most people that were educated were young…remember that our traditions still had strong influence.. kings would normally send their children to school so it is normal for this occurrence..

France launched it's first national television in 1935 and our own WNTV came to being in 1959. General Yakubu Gowon was born on October 19, 1934, and he became the military head of state of Nigeria in 1966. Just three months to his 32nd birthday not 27. Chief Anthony Enahoro was born on July 22, 1923, and he moved the first historic motion for Nigeria's independence in 1953 at age of 30 not 23. Your points about how the youths were given the opportunities back in those days are well noted, but you should take cognizance of those who will take this as a secondary research data without fact check.
