@_.ponex: Myroslav "zont1x" Plakhotia is a Ukrainian professional Counter-Strike 2 player who plays for Team Spirit as a rifler. Born on July 20, 2005, he began his competitive career in 2020 with Marlian before joining Spirit Academy in 2021. There, he spent more than two years developing alongside other young talents and eventually became one of the most promising players in the organization's academy system. In July 2023, zont1x was promoted to Spirit's main roster together with Danil "donk" Kryshkovets. The move marked the beginning of one of the most successful young cores in Counter-Strike 2. Later that year, Spirit added Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov, creating a lineup that combined young mechanical talent with experienced leadership from Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov. The beginning of 2024 transformed Spirit into a world-class team. At IEM Katowice, Spirit dominated the tournament and defeated FaZe Clan in the Grand Final. Zont1x played an important supporting and rifling role throughout the run, helping Spirit claim one of its first major international trophies of the CS2 era. The team continued winning during the year, including the BLAST Premier Spring Final and BetBoom Dacha Belgrade Season 2. The biggest achievement of zont1x's career came at the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024. Spirit defeated FaZe Clan in the Grand Final to win its first Counter-Strike Major Championship. At only 19 years old, zont1x became a Major champion alongside donk, sh1ro, magixx and chopper. His consistency and ability to perform his role without demanding the spotlight became an important part of Spirit's championship formula. His breakthrough season was recognized by HLTV, which ranked zont1x as the No. 20 player in the world for 2024 and named him the third-best Rookie of the Year, behind donk and malbsMd. This made him one of the most highly regarded young riflers in the world despite playing alongside a superstar teammate who received much of Spirit's attention. In 2025, zont1x remained part of Spirit's starting lineup as the team continued competing for international trophies. Spirit won PGL Astana 2025 and IEM Cologne 2025, while remaining among the world's strongest teams. However, after the Cologne run, Spirit decided to rebuild part of its roster. In September 2025, zont1x was moved to the bench and replaced by Andrey "tN1R" Tatarinovich. Despite being removed from the active lineup, zont1x's story with Spirit did not end permanently. In December 2025, Spirit returned him to the active roster alongside magixx, while long-time captain chopper and zweih were benched. This reunited two members of the Shanghai Major championship lineup and began another chapter of his career with the organization. Zont1x's career has never been built around spectacular statistics or constant individual spotlight. Instead, his value comes from consistency, discipline, utility usage and his ability to perform difficult roles within a structured system. From Spirit Academy prospect to Major champion and internationally recognized young rifler, he became an important part of the generation that transformed Team Spirit into one of the defining organizations of the early CS2 era. #cs2 #zont1x #щп #smoking #cry
