😡I think he found out she was leaving him. Everything about the Clancy case screams abuse to me. She was isolated and he seemed to make and have the money. The house looked nice from the outside not inside, no one but family ever came in it. She was alone with the kids all of the time. He was the one who got out. When they socialized it was with his friends. When she could have gotten out and made friends and leaned on people, she had the nanny taken away so again she was trapped at home, where he worked. Who knows if the nest cameras were used when he was out. He was pretending to be her sending texts to his mom from her. Controlling that narrative. How many more was he controlling. He had a phone set up to her accounts. Reading her searches? Facebook? messages? She looked up “can a sociopath be cured?” Something happened in September Reddington kept saying that made Lindsay fall apart? Instead of going to give info in person like the doctors asked when Lindsay was admitted, he said he called and spoke with the doctor (controlling the narrative again). Was he messaging her doctors? She was in an appointment when a my chart message was sent. They were sleeping in separate rooms. Weren’t speaking at all in the videos we saw. She wrote nice things in her journal about him and accounted for every med, was that because she knew he was watching her every move, was trying to throw him off the scent of her getting her plan together to safely leave. I don’t think this happened to leave her for another woman (though I don’t doubt there was one), I bet this was because he knew from all messages he could see that she was leaving him. And he couldn’t have that because all of his dirt laundry and failures as a partner and parent would be aired. I think the picture that “Patrick” said was hiding a world of control and gaslighting. I think he is a factor 1 psychopath. Even worse than a sociopath because biologically he will look way less guilty because he cannot mount an anxiety response the same way we do so there’s really no sweating or anxiousness or panic, just patrick calmly telling a story right after annihilating his family. That’s why no one questioned his story😡

Seems that he wants the focus to be on her mental health wether ppd/psychosis or general MH- he wants everyone to focus on that which leads pple to believe oh she did because she was mentally unwell, then no one suspects him because they’re so focussed on her having mental health issues
