I was invited out for a beer, was expected to work 6pm to midnight. I was drunk by 4pm, but was going to go clubbing. Phoned in and told my boss I was in a car crash, and I was heading to Bedford hospital. Then headed to Bedford ... ironically enough, the taxi I was in got clipped and we ended up in a field. 🤣
