idc about episode 45, I always found orihime well written in the manga, in fact hueco mundo arc is the peak of her character imo, because she has philosophical depth (like e.g existentialism) with ulquiorra and loly, and people are glazing Orihime's episode 45 performance for the wrong reasons because the scene has writing and philosophical depth in my opinion.
