@newsbuzzuk: BREAKING: Five men have been arrested near RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire after police received a report about three suspicious vehicles apparently travelling towards the airbase. Counter T€rrorism Policing is leading the investigation after the men were initially arrested on suspicion of e%plosives offences and later on suspicion of preparing a t•r•orist act. An Army E%plosive Ordnance Disposal team is examining the vehicles inside a 400-metre cordon, while around 85 households were evacuated as a precaution. RAF Fairford has been used by US heavy b•mbers during operations against Iran this year, but authorities have not confirmed any connection between the incident and Iran.
