I have a question and if you don’t want to answer it I will understand, after all you have done with and been through with Birdie to give her the best life she deserves why can’t you just keep her and her just become pack, you both care so much and done so much for her she trust you both so much, this was not just getting a stray healthy for an adoption Birdie had almost an impossible health condition and you stuck with her through it all and now she is almost there. My heart is just wanting you both to keep her because you know what she needs and that’s you both. Don’t get me wrong she has the will to survive & live but you gave her hope & so much love you never gave up on her & she didn’t give up on you either. I know this is what you do, but Birdie is one in a million miracle. What if you think you have the right person to adopt her but somehow it doesn’t work out or this person takes her somewhere else instead of you because they are ashamed and didn’t want you to know. I guess I just want Birdie with you both because following along this journey I began to love her so much and she is going to need you both/ just my opinion I love you both as well for doing this journey not everyone would

this video is proof that a dogs mental state can and does help their healing. Being confined is not always the best way to heal. The compassion that has been shown to this dog is one of the best parts of humanity. She is so happy and the spark is back in her eyes!

To all the people asking or commenting on how they don’t understand why they wouldn’t just keep Bertie I want you to consider that Birdie is so lucky that they found her and they’ve done everything that they possibly could to give her the best life possible and I do believe that they will both hold a special place in each other‘s hearts, Birdie, in theirs and them and Birdies, but by continuing Birdie’s story onto a loving family and stable home it gives them the opportunity and the space and the ability to save more Birdies and give more dogs an opportunity of a lifetime. I think that’s why you shouldn’t question any of their decision. They are doing the least selfish thing by adopting every dog out that they save because I’m sure they fall in love with every single one of them.

I wish Birdie could understand just how loved she is by so many people!!
